Ok, so this picture looks like a dodgy TV arial or something, but it’s actually an essential MX tool for quick (or not so quick) fixes.

This one is pretty obvious, but in case you can’t see for the mud, it’s another essential piece of protection, but for rider, not your bike, this time.

After posting this I’ve been told it could be a few things – so if there are some odd guesses I might let them slide.
The answer I’m looking for can be applied to bikes, cooking and tanning.
